NYC via Miami artist Jose Parla, a practitioner of the palimpsests form is currently touring Australia with his unique metropolis-inspired stylings. Parla employs a vast range of methods, tools and mediums to express his vision of textured, multi-layered “segmented realities”, which have recently “blown up the spot” at the Autopsy Gallery in Melbourne.

Logan Hicks teams up with X-Large LA for a few new products. Inspired by graffiti, the pieces include two bandans and a pair of pants. The bandans feature a twist on the paisley print, and a mask, respectively. The pants display fabric print on the pocket linings and pant legs, but the real highlight is a pocket large enough to hold a can of spray paint.

The UNKL UniPo’s are back in two new series. UniPo Series 3 draws inspiration from interplanetary exploration, modeling each toy in an astronaut suit, while Series 4 gives a nod to darkness, with demonic, ghoulish references. A select few figures are available at 6 inches, but the general size for the collection is 2 inches.
