Vans Syndicate has just released a slip on and half cab designed by tattooist and painter Grime. It’s believed these will probably drop in Spring 08′ with a selection t-shirts designed by Grime as well. We’ll keep you posted.

The art work of Marvin Franklin, the subway worker who was struck and killed by a train in march, is now on view at the New York Transit museum. The New York Times recently did a story on the artist and his work. Peep it here.

Darkcloud Silver has just produced a Spray Can Pendant fully equipped with a paint paddle inside. So if you’re away from the paint for a while you can at least shake the pendant and feel a little bit of comfort.

After years of speculation, the Triston Eaton and Kidrobot collab has now come to fruition. The 8″ paint splattered dunny comes with a gas mask, paint can rig and matching 3″ fat cap figure. Tristan will be signing the dunny’s at Kidrobot NY on 1.17.08 @ 6-8 PM and the new Kidrobot store in Miami on 1.18.08 @ 6-8 PM. If you’re in the area be sure to check it out.

The Japanese Geta dates back to the Yayoi period (300 B.C. – 300 A.D) and is still worn in Japan today with a summer kimono called yukata. Graff vet MakeOne brought together 60 artists to craft their vision onto the Japanese sandal which produced great results. Ping mag interviewed MakeOne and it’s a pretty cool read. In January, Nike will be releasing more shoes dedicated to the Be True To Your School pack. The shoes are overall pretty subtle with some small details added here and there, including cracked paint uppers and woven side panels. Also, a new high-top version of the Dunkesto will be released with the pack as well. Check for em’ in about a week or two.

Here we have some production samples from the second round collab of the UNKL and Defcon SUG figure. The figures measure 12 inches tall and will also have matching gloves available for purchase. So if you’re on ya’ winter sports game, your hands can be warm while you stroke your figure. I don’t know how that will turn out, but hey, it’s your figure damnit.
