C2 Customs AF1 -Sandstorm
So I have a couple of friends in the custom sneaker world, and they seem to pride, and push themselves to doing things that haven’t been done. Especially by the manufacturer! Seen here is a pair of customized AF1’s, done by the fellas at C2 customs. They are a really nice attempt at capturing the desert camos that are worn by the soldiers in the middle east… over what appears to be a Baltimore city series AF1. The thing is, Nike did a shoe very much like this a while back. Nike’s colors were a lil’ lighter, but really? I dunno, the dudes obviously have painting skills, but…

DC Shoes x Goliath x Sprint2
DC Shoes is showing love to the East Coast with their recent collaboration with Goliath of Harlem, N.Y and Sprint2 of Queens, N.Y. The sneakers feature a black/blue upper with a speckled midsole and a set of gold rope laces. The DC x Goliath x Sprint2 sneakers get even more attractive when you learn that 5% of the sales will go to Sweat Equity Enterprises, an organization which helps to educate and motivate New York teens to create their own designs, then funnel the proceeds back to helping the community. Glen Jones is a graphic designer/ illustrator from Auckland, New Zealand who has turned his hobby of t-shirt making into a business that is gaining recognition. Glennz Tees is the name of his brand (GLEN +NZ –because he is from New Zealand) and it features simple American Apparel tees that are blasted with his original artwork. Glennz is sold through Threadless, as well as his personal site. The t-shirt pictured above is the “Secret Habit” tee, which shows the infamous Ronald McDonald secretly chowing down on an entire pie –arguably one of the biggest competitors of the golden arches. Be honest, it made you smirk.
The Hundreds 5th Anniversary Collection
The Hundreds’ is celebrating their 5th anniversary with a series of t-shirts that have been compiled specifically to celebrate their fifth year in business.
