Your own personal space tells a whole lot about you. With this understanding, Todd Selby embarked his project, The Selby in June of 2008, documenting his friends in their natural habitat. And the project blew up – it became an archive of authors, actors, curators, directors, painters, performers and designers spanning from the U.S., Mexico, the UK, and France. Each documented space is a window into the subject’s lifestyle, whether pristine, irreverent, bohemian, or intimate. And now, the project is on display at the Colette Gallery in Paris from March 30th to May 2nd – there will also be plenty of Selby souvenirs for sale, too. Check here for some examples from this excellent exhibit.
