Together Ryan Reneau and Travis Drake have brought some definite originality to their graphic line 3rd ID Clothing. Self-proclaimed rejection of the existing market high-rollers, they create the kind of tongue-in-cheek graphic t-shirts that make the wearer stop and think. And these guys don’t stop at imaginatively providing new attire options, they co-design projects with a number of their music industry supporters and provide proceeds to the cancare Cancer Support Network. Todd Bratrud teamed up with Nike SB to create the ‘Brain Wreck’ Dunk Hi Premium. The shoe which will be available exclusively at Familia Skateshop in Minneapolis, features a grey suede upper, a Brain Wreck print around the heel, pink accents, and even a fitting skate deck. Nike Sportswear is introducing the ‘Loopwheeler’ range, which is made from fabrics that are knitted on a machine called the Loopwheel. Only a few of these rare machines are still operating in Japan today, each produces one meter of fabric per hour, so it might be that these garments are going to become historic, in a sense.
