We just finished a nice site for our good friend, Vanessa Maynard in California. She has a healthy amount of work with multiple disciplines and mixed media spread throughout. Very idiosyncratic, with no heart. Click for inspiration.

I’ve been creating with Mystro for some time now, close to ten years. He’s always progressing. Just stepped in his studio which is being renovated for some aesthetic changes. This is just a sneak preview, some major things coming in the near future.

Since information and ethnological research on African monarchs was rare, I started to investigate haphazardly, then went to meet the kings, beyond the cities often at the end of very bad roads.

In order to photograph them I had to submit almost always to complex protocols. I put in a lot of time and sometimes money. I was helped many times by intermediaries who were well known in the court. Without them, negotiations would have been impossible.
