The third Annual Art Rocks! Benefit is to be held Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Bowery Hotel in New York City. The mission of Art Rocks is to raise money and awareness for the pediatric diabetes programs at the Berrie Center. Our hope is that this event will encourage the next generation of philanthropists, especially donors to the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center. Art Rocks was founded in 2007 by Nicole Berrie.

The “Honor Dance” is a workshop and a video focusing on ancient/contemporary behavior in honor. Throughout the two day workshop, the participants – some as the Viking Gang, and others as the Rock and Rollers will engage in various arts, including; costume, dance, song and storytelling. In preparation for the final Dance-Off, an anthropological investigation into the contemporary characteristics of the living icon, the performance will be recorded.

The final video piece will be presented as a video premiere on Wednsday, 18 November, 2009 at 20:00 hrs at Galerie Gabriel Rolt, Elandsgracht 34, 1016 TW, Amsterdam.

The old wall had been here for over a year… A year without change is a year without growth. I decided to invite Wayne, Abner, Slacker and the Last Plak Crew over for some beers and debauchery. The following pictures are considered evidence by more than one government.

Drawing on strangers is fun, most of the time they are scared at first, but people are drunk at bars, and drunk people are known to make mistakes.

This chick was sitting alone, crying, after being drawn on she was face locked with a very creepy dude. Art brings joy to peoples lives, take a note on that people.

These two dudes seemed very against being used as canvas, no one likes being used. Luckily we are all trained arbitrators.

This guy got the best, worst, best of things. He seemed happy enough that there were no mirrors around.
