The London Police World Tour -> Round 2, XXX!

The second stop on the three show loop, from London to XXX, all the way to the dreamy fast food bright lights of LA LA land. The London Police have stolen the keys to the scenes car and are breaking the speed limit. Showing new limits of what they have been up to for the past ten years!

Thanks for pointing, i might have missed it!

Bobbie of the TLP, artists taking pictures always make me happy.

Morck hiding in one of the paintings.

Chaz and bob both took pics every 20 minutes for the creation of this show, this is a close up of the wall that shared everything from morning sleepy eyes to dinner, drinks and friends.

Wide shot of the 20 minute project.

Ladies and Lads.

They closed the gallery and the WNP crew took refuge outside to chill in the sun, before the EPIC rain came to wash away all hope of summer existing.

How we roll :)

As a curator of our Shop gallery, its refreshing to see people push the limits of their art. A lot of the POP scene is based on repetition, i feel fear is part of it, how else will people know its you? Its what they want from you as a artist, what they know you for, why not give it to them? It’s a easy and frustrating trap to keep doing the same thing, with little growth in content. I think it takes balls to push the ideas you have been working on, making them something new, while taking from the old elements that got you to this point in the process. Props to Chaz and Bob for coming together and showing that progress and risk are not just word’s in the dictionary, but something that can do some amazing things.

It Feels Like Magic

Harry from Peg Leg has recently set up a site to share some of the happenings, sounds and smells of NYC. Harry is living a unique life and documenting it as he go’s along, which i know takes some effort to always be strapped with that camera, but its worth it in the end as the shots speak for themselves. Check it out at www.itfeelslikemagic.com, and get your piece of the magic on.

R.I.P. To The Fallen

Where is the special edition SB Dunk to commemorate the end of the scene?

SHQ

Its not just on the news, shits real and its affecting even the big boys. My recent trip to NYC saddened me to see so many spots shutting down and taking their energy’s someplace else. This is not just the mom and pop shops, this is hitting everyone. Shits changing, and times passing. Its up to the core scene to keep things going, improve adapt and overcome.

Nort

I see the current scene as being comparable to that lull skating took in the early 90’s, when you were skating for skate, not cause you looked cool holding a stick. I believe strongly in the creative outlets T shirts and “Street” art afford us, i look forward to seeing the new talent that will emerge from this amazing roller coaster of time.

Stussy

Word has it that Union might even be shutting their doors and becoming the new Stussy spot, normally i would think thats just a load of shit, but the way things are going now, i almost believe it.

PS- There were way more shops to take pictures of, but shit got depressing and i ditched out going around taking pics of graves.

Fucking Shit Up

The crew back at it, bringing the wonderment of their unique artistic destruction to the good people of Brussels, go get em!

New LOLA

New LOLA gear in the shop, looking good, feeling amazing (70% Viscose 30% Pima cotton!). Check it out in store at wolf and pack, or at the previously mentioned Black Buoy.

Ultra De La Rue

Good folks and some good times. The crew is back at it with Ultra De La Rue, part of the 400th ANV between NYC and XXX. I would think this type of thing will be rolling along all year in celebration of the history of these two great city’s. Word has it the XXX heads might be invading NYC next, turnabout is fair play… more on that later.

EllisG and Chris Stains-

The London Police at W&P

Chaz from The London Police showing off the latest addition to the shop. Thanks to the geezer for the lads and beers.

Stay tuned in for a special W&P teaser of his upcoming show in La La land.

Why Style

The Hotalian boys from why style have been on a tear lately, and i would feel like a jerk if i did not start to shout about it with them.

We are cooking up a show with them in the early summer, and look foward to the insanity thats sure to follow in the wake of the creative tsunami, that is the why style crew.
