“The most striking point to it was how I found Japanese designers, sometimes, utilize influences as aesthetics, with a naïve disregard to how these aesthetics might be seen to the non-Japanese community.”
yep. but thats just naive. it gets even more worse, when an origin british brand like “silas” puts grey SS-Emblems (Hitlers SchutzStaffel) on their stuff; like they do in their latest collection. “I found Japanese designers, sometimes, utilize influences as aesthetics, with a naïve disregard to how these aesthetics might be seen to the non-Japanese community: usually with no ironic wit, without any message or point or sarcasm or satire.”
hmmmm…”message or point or sarcasm or satire” That’s an interesting sentence because when comparing American streetwear to Japanese designs, such a critique illuminates the petty hatred and schizophrenia of the “street” aesthetic.
i.e.
rich people selling images of violence and poverty to rich people who think they know something about poverty.

FUCK RMK LIVESTOCK!!
This guy is fake as hell and his designs lean on others art. He even claims that there is no art in his work, just stolen photos.
HE IS NOT THE REAL RMK
RMK DESiGNS is the official RMK Clothing line launched in 2004 in San Diego, CA. RMK Livestock released its weak shit in 2007.
Do not support weak sauce. RMK LIVESTOCK is bogus.
RMK DESiGNS is the real deal.
