Artists Caia Koopman and Camilla d’Errico are having a show at the Los Angeles gallery thinkspace, called ‘Vain Remains’. Caia’s ultra-stylized paintings appear pleasant enough, but a closer look shows a quietly sinister undercurrent. Camilla’s manga-inspired pencils are aesthetically dissimilar, but offers the same kind of subdued menace. The show opens on September 11th 2009, with a reception at 7PM and closes on October 2nd.
