Vancouver is on it’s sh!t right now as they’ve started to use “guerilla street stencils as a way to deter car thieves.” From what I hear the “bait car” program has been going on for a while but the stencils are a new reminder for the masses. It seems everyone else is cool with street art, but why not America??

I don’t agree that this civic sponsored “street art” equates to the city of Vancouver being down with street art. The same cops who payed to have this up are the same ones who will write you a ticket for doing similar, then force the property owner to pay for it’s removal. Let’s hear it for hypocrisy…
