Wonderfully executed, artist Erika Iris Simmons‘ series ‘Ghost in the Machine’ demonstrates the potential for various artistic mediums to be appropriated for new and exciting creations. Through recycling donated cassette and video tapes, Simmons generated these incredibly detailed, stylized images; calling to attention the nature of the various artists and how we perceive not only their artistic offerings, but also the manner in which they are delivered to us.
