Californian artist Fred Tomaselli’s first solo exhibition at White Cube in Mason’s Yard, UK, displays a volatile, talented artist on top of his game. His exhibit is extremely diverse, featuring paintings, newsprint collages, photograms, woven tapestries, and mixed media offerings. As a product of both the tail end of the hippie era and the burgeoning punk era, his work is seemingly conflicted between nihilistic and euphoric.
