It’s been a long time since any real rebel rocked a Harley Davidson motorcycle but we applaud the fact that this cultural icon is throwing its weight behind a truly cultural event. The Art of Rebellion exhibition features a selection of some of today’s most recognized and respected lowbrow artists in a ‘one night only’ show at Santa Monica’s Bergamot Station Arts Center. Each of the 11 artists has been given the gas tank of a Harley to use as the canvas for an original artwork, which will then sold at the event with a portion of the proceeds going to Art Matters, a foundation supporting groundbreaking artists… Hit the official web site for all the in-depth details.
