Previously captured only in the world of fiction or film, so-called ‘fight club’s’ represent an underground world few witness, a fact that photographer Julius Bramanto set out to rectify in this disturbingly beautiful photo series. Normally at home in the world of high fashion, Bramanto has succeeded in capturing the world of underground fighting with a surreal beauty characteristic of the former. The seamless execution of these images, combined with the honesty and brutality of what they portray, result in a series as powerful as the fighters captured within its frames.
