Open now at the CoproNason Gallery is Keith Weesner’s newest exhibit, Nightlight. Weesner’s works read like gothic sci-fi pop art, featuring some classic Americana themes – pin up girls, vintage cars, and the neon glow of all night diners – coloured with the sketchiness of an after-hours party winding down. Throw in a few fuzzed-out, ethereal elements – all his works are covered in a halo-like haze and there are a few left-field elements, such as spaceships and hovercars – and you have an original exhibit from an intriguing artist. Check the web preview here, and the show runs until April 24th.
