Chukkas, for the most part, tend to work best in sunnier times – canvas doesn’t hold up terribly well to salty swamp foot (and that’s something we’ve learned from experience). However, Lanvin are looking to change that with their Fall collection – starting with this refined flannel grey and black iteration of the Chukka. Like the peacoat, these sneakers draw the line between functional and formal – and we’re hoping that the rest of their collection follows suit. These are available now at Colette.
