Double exposure photography seems to be the ‘au courant’ method for artists working in the medium right now, with no shortage of people dipping a toe in the pool; but when we came across these images from Maxwell Tomlinson, it seemed as though this was how it’s done. Beautifully done both aesthetically and technically, these images stand alone as individual works, not merely as a messy combination of ideas.
