
Bucking the new-looking raw denim trend, Japanese brand Neighborhood teams up with Levi’s to produce this pair of rough looking 501 jeans. Based on designs dating back to 1947, these jeans are a great callback to when jeans first started to gain popularity in Japan. It’s not hard to imagine an American GI off-duty in Okinawa sporting a pair of these worn jeans. That is, until you see the ‘DESTROY’ and ‘FREEDOM’ prints on the back.
