For the past year or so, a big Keith Haring mural has been decorating the corner of Bowery and Houston in celebration of the artist’s 50th birthday. In the past week, Brazilian artist duo Os Gêmeos (meaning ‘the twins’) has started covering it over—equipped with mass amounts of paint and some time to kill after their latest museum show in Rio De Janeiro. It’s hard to tell what it’s going to look like right now, but within a few days it will start coming together nicely.
