Eager to forget the 2010 World Cup, Umbro has asked Peter Saville to design a new home kit for the England national football team for the 2010 – 2011 internationals. The new home kit is the classic white, but with blue highlights, while the goalkeeper kits are now black with purple piping. In addition to the usual Tailored by Umbro design elements, Saville has added small multicolored St. George’s Crosses as a recurring motif. It’s a new start for England, who are pushing their young footballers along the new kit. Preorders for the new kit are happening at online retailers now.
