Stan Lee’s brand of comics has spawn legions of fans, cinematic adaptations, and even influences the apparel market. Paying tribute to Stan Lee’s contributions to popular culture and the culture of comic book art is Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles. On January 8, 2008, from 7PM – 11PM, the gallery will host artwork paying homage to several marquee Stan Lee creations, including this Matt Dangler piece depicting a swirled impression of the X-Man Wolverine.
